Terms of Service
Our role
The Schnauzer Scout is an informational directory that connects Miniature Schnauzer breeders with prospective families. We are not a party to any sale, not an agent of any breeder, and not a payment processor. No deposits or payments are accepted through this website.
Breeder obligations
Breeders must provide accurate kennel, dog, litter and puppy information, own the rights to the photos they upload, and submit only authentic health testing documents. Misrepresenting testing, pedigree or availability is grounds for immediate removal.
Verification
Approval and verification badges are granted at the sole discretion of our administrators after reviewing submitted documents. A badge reflects documents we have seen; it is not a warranty of any dog's health, temperament or suitability.
Buyer responsibilities
You are responsible for your own due diligence: speak with the breeder, meet the dam, ask for original certificates, and require a written contract before sending money. Never send funds by gift card, cryptocurrency or wire transfer to someone you have not verified.
Prohibited use
No spam, scraping, resale of listings, false reports, or listings for any breed other than Miniature Schnauzers. We may remove accounts and content that violate these terms.
Limitation of liability
The service is provided as is. To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Schnauzer Scout is not liable for disputes, losses or damages arising from transactions arranged between buyers and breeders.
